Digital Analyst / Digital Marketing Coordinator

Description

In this role, you would be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital ad campaigns; implementing and managing analytics tools; and using data from a variety of sources to generate insights and recommendations in pursuit of strategic goals. 

In this role, you would be working with multiple clients at a time, spanning from musicians to music tech start-ups. You would be responsible for managing multiple campaigns under the direction of Co-Owner and Project Manager, Sarah Jamer.  

Duties

Analyze 

  • Create and manage tags for a single-page app using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.

  • Proactively initiate, research, and perform data analysis using a variety of sources, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Hubspot, and internal platform data.

  • Create recurring and ad hoc reports on key metrics of general website traffic, platform user engagement, campaign performance, and overall digital marketing strategy.

  • Effectively communicate insights internally in a concise and easy-to-understand manner.

Advertise

  • Build, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Facebook.

  • Work with the team to align content and targeting strategy with strategic goals.

Optimize

  • Analyze marketing activities, identify key drivers, and use data-driven insights to suggest/implement changes that optimize performance.

Reporting 

  • Weekly reporting of performance of campaigns 

  • Weekly budget reporting and managing spends

Required Qualifications

  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and data-visualization skills

  • Strong knowledge of Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Filtering, pivot tables, power query)

  • Some knowledge of Squarespace

  • Some knowledge of Hubspot CRM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some knowledge of Google Data Studio

  • Some knowledge of UTM variables

  • Some knowledge of HTML and CSS

  • Some knowledge of BigQuery and/or SQL

  • Some knowledge of SEO

  • Some knowledge of Content, Email, and Social Media marketing

Work Environment 

This position can be a remote work role, with weekly check-ins. If you are in the Halifax area,  in-person workdays and meetings will be part of your routine. You are asked to provide your own laptop/computer. 

Hours 

This is a part-time role for 20hrs a week at $18.00-$20.00/hour. This is a role that has lots of room to grow and the possibility for this to transition into a full-time role is high.
